Crate xil_audio 

Audio engine: interleaved i16 PCM buffers with operations that reproduce pydub/audioop bit for bit, an ffmpeg subprocess bridge for every codec round trip, and ID3/WAV tagging.

audioop

The audioop primitives pydub is built on, transcribed from CPython’s Modules/audioop.c (shipped for Python 3.13+ as audioop-lts).

ffmpeg

Decoding and probing through ffmpeg subprocesses.

fx

ffmpeg-backed dialogue treatments. Port of audio_fx.py.

id3w

An ID3v2.4 reader/writer that saves exactly what mutagen saves.

mpeg

MP3 stream info the way mutagen computes it. A transcription of mutagen.mp3.MPEGInfo and mutagen.mp3._util.

pcm

Interleaved 16-bit PCM with the measurements pydub exposes.

segment

pydub’s AudioSegment, transcribed operation by operation.

tags

ID3 tag access. Mirrors the mutagen calls in sfx_common.py.
